On June 2nd, tell the City you want changes to allow MORE infill homes!

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Winnipeg.

We’re in the home stretch of a process to make much needed by-law changes to allow more homes in established neighbourhoods.

A public hearing is set for these changes on June 2nd. The City Council, per the Housing Accelerator Fund Agreement with the federal government, should have their first vote on these bylaw changes on June 12th.

These changes include:

Fourplexes

Allowing four homes (fourplexes) on residential lots, subject to dimensional standards.

Four-storey apartments

Allowing four-storey apartments within 800 metres of high frequency transit.

YIMBY Winnipeg is counting on every fan of housing affordability and smarter growth to come out and let their voices be heard!
